Instrumentation & Automation Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), SCADA systems, PLC programming, and pump station upgrades. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing automation and control systems to support the reliability and performance of utility infrastructure projects in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain control systems (SCADA, PLC) for water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Lead instrumentation and automation upgrades for pump stations and STPs
• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults and process control issues
• Ensure integration and communication between field instruments, RTUs, and SCADA systems
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and civil teams on project execution
• Prepare technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic
• Ensure compliance with local standards and Qatar utility authority requirements
