Job Overview
ECSM & VMCG, a Qatar-based group of companies, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintained accurate financial records and ledgers for multiple school operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor budgets and support financial planning and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari tax laws, labor regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Assist with external audits and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with school administrators and vendors on financial matters.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Prior auditing experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software. (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems)
- Familiarity with Qatari financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is required.
