Main Duties
- Coordinate food service with the rest of the team.
- Act as liaison between the customers and the kitchen.
- Work in harmony with the waiters and cooks.
- Be attentive to the waiter and supervisor to facilitate customer requests.
- Food runners play a vital role in supporting the wait staff by promptly delivering food to tables.
- and ensuring orders are presented correctly.
- Familiar with menu items. In addition to serving, food runners assist with clearing tables, refilling glasses, restocking stations, polishing silverware, and performing opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position or customer service.
- Good communication skills: English language proficiency is required.
- Pleasing personality and professional appearance.
- Ability to work under pressure and during busy service periods.
- Adapts quickly to changes and is a fast learner.
- Effective team player with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiar with hospitality terminology and service standards.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
