Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction-related quantity surveying and planning
- UPDA Certification is mandatory with Ashghal project experience.
- Demonstrable experience in contract management of complex infrastructure.
- Experience in preparing construction projects’ monthly valuations.
- Experience in assessing and evaluating contractors’ claims.
- Experience in the preparation of submission of all SI, VO, and claims.
- Must have worked with FIDIC or another international form of contract and must be conversant with the implications of various contract clauses.
- Must be conversant with the General Conditions of Contract of Qatar
- Membership in an accredited professional institution would be an advantage.
- Must have experience to resolve commercial issues, claims, and variation and Extension of Time evaluation.
- Experience of the Arbitration process is desirable
- Must have strong leadership to coordinate with the project management team of an interdisciplinary team, and a strong desire to deliver results
