Job Overview
We are seeking a male Filipino assistant head chef, currently working at the same level, with a strong focus on baking and pastry preparation from scratch.
Responsible For: Kitchen Operations
Main Duties
- Skilled in creating bread, cakes, and desserts without pre-mixes
- Developing recipes, managing ingredients, overseeing kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and presentation of finished products
- Strong sense of confidentiality, especially regarding proprietary recipes and work processes
- Experience in people management; able to lead the main kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
- Handling dessert preparation and bakery
- Maintaining Cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
- Following Food Safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in baking and pastry production
- Age not more than 40 years old
- Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
- Good communication skills. The English language is a must.
- Ability to work under pressure with the busy flow of customers.
- Effective team player with good attention to detail.
- Excellent skills in maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene standards.
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
