Job Responsibilities
- Provide timely and confidential ethics consultations to healthcare providers, staff, and patients/families facing ethical dilemmas.
- Facilitate discussions and mediate conflicts related to patient care, resource allocation, and professional conduct.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, review and update ethical policies, guidelines and procedures in alignment with organization’s mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with national and international ethics standards and regulations.
- Design and deliver ethics training Programs for health care providers and staff to enhance their understanding of ethical principles and decision-making frameworks.
- Facilitate ethics committee meetings and ensure follow up on recommendations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Bioethics, Medical Ethics, Healthcare Ethics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Clinical background (e.g., nursing, medicine, or allied health) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical ethics, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
