Overview of the role

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Service Manager to lead the aftersales operations of our Commercial Vehicles Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across multiple service branches. This role focuses on delivering outstanding workshop performance, parts sales, and team leadership, specifically within the commercial vehicles sector.

What you will do

  • Own and drive the service and parts performance for commercial vehicles across all assigned branches.
  • Set and monitor monthly and quarterly service targets in coordination with planning and finance teams.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate teams to achieve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts based on operational insights and market dynamics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards across workshop facilities.
  • Implement staff training, coaching, and performance management programs.
  • Maintain a strong communication flow between teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive effective aftersales campaigns and service offers.
  • Build a succession plan to ensure future team strength and stability.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedure.

What equips you for the role

  • Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in aftersales management within the commercial vehicle sector. (buses, trucks, or fleet vehicles)
  • Technical and operational knowledge of workshop processes, service scheduling, and spare parts logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and aftermarket management systems.
  • Proven success in improving workshop performance and managing P&L responsibilities.
